Strike called to shut down all community schools across the nation for August 28 and 29 has been withdrawn. 

Joint Temporary Teachers’ Struggle Central Committee withdrew the educational strike after Nepal Teachers Federation agreed to take positive initiative to get their demands addressed, said Committee Chairperson Hemnath Chaulagain. 

According to Committee, an understanding has been reached where Federation would take initiative to get demands of temporary teachers addressed in course of formulation of federal education act.
